JPMorgan Climate Change Solutions Active ETF (T3MP) — Review & Analysis
T3MP is JPMorgan's actively managed climate-solutions ETF — investing in global companies whose products and services directly address the climate transition. The benchmark is the MSCI ACWI Index but T3MP runs an unconstrained active mandate, focusing on industrial innovators, clean-energy utilities and materials companies enabling the energy shift. AUM is small at this point in the fund's life as at May 2026, sitting well below peer ESG and clean-energy funds. Compare T3MP across the clean energy ETF page.
The portfolio composition tells the active story clearly. Industrials make up 55.9% of holdings, Utilities 18.2%, IT 13.8%, and Materials 7.5% — a fundamentally different mix from passive global equity ETFs like VGS (tech-heavy) or ETHI (BetaShares Global Sustainability Leaders, also IT-heavy). Top holdings include SSE (UK utility), NextEra Energy, Prysmian (cabling), Hitachi, AGCO (agricultural equipment) and Atlas Copco — industrial enablers rather than headline clean-energy names.
T3MP's closest peers are climate-themed ETFs like ETHI and ACDC — both broader sustainability or battery-economy plays — and pure clean-energy thematic funds. The differentiator is active management plus industrial focus, which means T3MP tracks more closely with global industrials and capex-driven sectors than with the renewable-utility names that dominate passive clean-energy indices. The active mandate also gives the manager flexibility to rotate as climate-policy momentum shifts.
The fund is unhedged for currency. As an active climate fund with industrial tilt rather than a clean-tech proxy, T3MP behaves differently from index-tracking competitors during energy-transition narrative shifts. Our every theme ETF on the ASX guide compares climate, ESG and thematic funds on fees and structure.
