Global X EURO STOXX 50 ETF (ESTX) — Review & Analysis

ESTX tracks the EURO STOXX 50 — the 50 largest Eurozone blue-chip companies, deliberately excluding the UK and Switzerland. AUM is $429.87 million as at May 2026 with a 0.35% p.a. management fee — sharing the cheapest fee tier with VEQ. Compare ESTX across the Europe cohort on our Europe ETF page, or use the Compare ETFs tool to evaluate alongside IEU, VEQ or HEUR.

The Eurozone-only structure is the defining feature. Top holdings include ASML (Dutch), LVMH (French), Novo Nordisk (Danish), SAP (German), Siemens, Allianz, Schneider Electric and L'Oréal — a portfolio of European industrial champions, luxury brands and tech enablers. The exclusion of UK (AstraZeneca, Shell, HSBC) and Switzerland (Nestlé, Roche, Novartis) materially changes sector weights versus broader Europe funds — ESTX leans more heavily on Industrials, Consumer Discretionary (luxury) and Technology.

The closest peers are IEU at 0.59% and VEQ at 0.35%, both broader Europe-350 style funds including UK and Swiss names. ESTX's currency-hedged peer in the broader Europe space is HEUR. For investors who already hold UK exposure via F100 and want to add the Eurozone separately without duplication, ESTX is the cleanest option.

ESTX is unhedged for currency. The 0.35% fee makes it competitive with the broader Europe options while offering more concentrated exposure to specific Eurozone champions. Our every theme ETF on the ASX guide covers regional and sector fund comparisons.
